Jeronimo Martinez's Obituary
Jeronimo Martinez, 92, of Baytown, Texas passed away July 22, 2021 in Baytown, Texas. He was born September 30, 1928 to Elias Martinez and Petra Barajas in Baytown, Texas.
Jeronimo enjoyed poetry and was a member of Kingwood Poets, and Poets Northwest.
He served in the Air Force from September 2, 1948 through August 16, 1951 as a Private.
Jeronimo is survived by his daughter, Eloisa Martinez and husband Christopher Brown of Houston, Texas; son, James Martinez and wife Rosely Martinez of Houston, Texas; sisters, Margarita DeLeon and Natalia Coronado; brothers, Refugio Martinez and Elias Martinez; grandchildren, Paul Bunch and Isabella Martinez.
Jeronimo was preceded in death by his parents, Elias and Petra Martinez; sisters, Consuelo Chapa and Flora Ramirez; and brother, Francisco Martinez.
Visitation will be held at San Jacinto Funeral Home on Wednesday July 28, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The chapel service will also be at San Jacinto Funeral Home on Thursday July 29, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow with military honors.
