Mrs. Jeannette Carol Hamic's Obituary
Our beloved Jeannette "NetNet" Reddy Hamic went, unexpectedly, to be with our blessed Heavenly Father in the early morning hours of Wednesday, January 31, 2018. Jeannette was born in Liverpool, England on June 12, 1952. She was a resident of Cloverleaf, Texas for almost 40 years. Jeannette devoted her life to serving others, first as a stay-at-home mom to her children, then as a para-educator to special needs students in Galena Park ISD, and then as a care-taker to her father-in-law and mother-in-law and finally her husband and daughter. Everyone who came to know her, came to love her. She touched the lives of many in need and in turn loved them all dearly.
Jeannette was preceded in death by her parents; George and Edna Reddy, her beloved parents-in-law; Noah "Tinker" and Dorothy "Grandma" Clayton, her dear brother-in-law; Michael Hamic, and her heart daughters; Tiffany Stone Blitch and Brandi Key McGregor.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years; Eric "Jaybo" Hamic Sr, her children; Eric "JJ" Hamic Jr (and ex-wife Wendy Sellers) and Erica "Joye" Hamic. Also surviving her are her Grandchildren; Marix Hudson, Kirsten Hoffman, Morgan Hoffman, Megan Hoffman, Jimmy Partridge, Cynthia Partridge, Megan Sellers, and Joshua "Blue" Golden, Great Grandchildren; Emma and Jace, Sophia and Aubrey, Paris, Jesus, and Jr., Aiden, Eric, and Lilly, Brothers; George Reddy and Sandy, John Reddy and Jan, and Tim Reddy, Sister; Chrissy Derby and Eddie, Brothers-In-Law; Jack Weston and Ivan Weston and Kay, Sister-In-Law Diane Hudson and Bruce, Nieces and Nephews; Shannon Reddy, Stacey Reddy, Samantha Lankford, Glynn Derby, Gary Derby and Michael Weston. Surviving her as well are her heart-children, some of whom she had a large hand in raising, all of whom she loved as her own; Robert Hudson, Michelle Chapman, Andy Hudson, Lori Kemletz, Shannon Hamic, Bill Taylor, Tiger George, Riley Garcia, Todd Powell, Willie Garcia, Patrick Duhon, Brad Sparks, Tony Talamantes, Larry Balcerowicz, Clyde Ochoa, Greg Gutierrez, Letisha and Chris Nutt, Stacey Russell, Kendi Sparks, Vanessa Crenshaw, Meredith Martin, Wendi McReight, Jennifer Foster, Heather Stevens, Natalie Williams, Kristen Talamantes, Cassie Evans, Lisa Guy, Sharon Bates and Brandi Brasher. Her legacy also lives with numerous great nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family and too many friends and loved ones to count.
A visitation will be held at San Jacinto Funeral Home, 14659 I-10 East Freeway, Houston Texas 77015 on Sunday, February 4, 2018 beginning at 4:00pm for family and 5:00-8:00pm for public. Services will also be held at San Jacinto on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 1:00pm with a graveside and interment to follow.
