Janie Lou Crawford, 91, of Houston, TX passed away November 27, 2021 in LaPorte, TX. She was born February 24, 1930 to James Alexander Meador and Mina Elizbeth Meador in Nacogdoches, TX.
She was a beautician for 35 years. She was a member of Eastern Star and enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, working crosswords and puzzles, arts and crafts.
She is survived by her daughter Billie Jane Tolbert; son, Windel Earl Crawford; grandchildren, Timothy Tolbert, Scott Tolbert, Justin Putnam, and Joshua Putnam; and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Mina Meador; children, Shirley Lee Gautreaux; brothers, Henry (Bully) Meador and Buck Meador; and sisters, Jackie Morton and Bobbie Jean Ballard.
