Mrs. Janette Lorene McCool-Rone's Obituary
Janette Lorene McCool-Rone, 80, went to be with her Lord at 11:38 a.m. Friday, August 12, 2011 at her home in Humble, Texas surrounded by her loving family. Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints. Paalm 116:15. Janette was born on March 13, 1931 in Lilbourne, Missouri. She was third of 12 children and the oldest daughter born to Harvard and Izora McCool. She married the love of her life at the age of 17 and moved to Galena Park, Texas. It was here that she began a remarkable journey. She worked for Brown & Root and Allied Industries for many years. However, the job she cherished most was being a mom to her 9 children. On November 28, 1961, she turned her life over to God, received the baptism of the Holy Ghost and began a walk with God that she cherished. She was a member of Grace Tabernacle in Galena Park, Texas where she raised her 9 children. She centered her life and the lives of her family around God and the work of the church. She taught her family to rely on God for all things and soon the blessings of God and miracles became a way of life. Later, she was a member of Life Tabernacle and Royalwood UPC in Houston and The Church of Humble in Humble, TX.. A long-time resident of Galena Park, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.T. Rone, sons, James Thomas and David Kayne Rone, father, Harvard (Dick) McCool, mother Izora McCool, brothers Wayne (Duts) McCool, Jerry (Gip) McCool and Glen McCool, brother-in-law Charlie Laminack, Robert Rone and sister-in-law Annie Ruth Rone along with numerous nieces and nephews. She is survived by sisters, Mary Imogene Laminack, JoAnn and husband Bill Philpott of Shepherd, TX, Vina and husband Benjamin McNaughton of Kingwood and Judy McCool of Houston, brothers Luther McCool of Indiana, and Jack McCool of Shepherd, Texas, children Sandra Mireles and husband Sam, Humble, TXl, Mary (Sissy) Kincade and husband Wayne, Bragg City, Mo., Robert (Bobby) Rone and wife Christina of Cleveland, TX. Glenda Marshall and husband Mike of Humble, TX., Cindy Mitchell and husband Jim of Rosharon, TX., Clark Rone and wife Laura of Kingwood, TX., Dennis Rone and wife Laura of Porter, TX.., 20 Grandchildren; 22 Great-Grandchildren along with a host of nieces and nephews and friends considered to be her children and grandchildren. Janette's family will receive friends between 5-8 pm on Monday evening at San Jacinto Funeral Home. The service will service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at Royalwood United Pentecostal Church located at 7803 Uvalde Road at Belway 8 East with Dr. C.E. Lott and Rev. Ron Macey officiating. The service is hosted and coordinated by Rev. Ken Gurley and First Church of Pearland. The graveside service will follow at San Jacinto Memorial Gardens at I-10 East and Beltway 8. Special thanks to the staff of Grace Hospice.
