Mr. James Edward Parker's Obituary
James Edward Parker was born on June 30, 1938 in Highlands, Texas. He was the first of three children born to Clarence and Evelyn Parker.
After Graduating from Lee High in Baytown, Texas, James went on to have two successful careers in the U.S. Air Force (20 years) and U.S. Post Office. He served in the Air Force from 1955 until 1975, and was actively involved during the Vietnam era.
While James was very happy to serve his country on of the happiest days of his life was September 9, 1984 when he married Jeannette and the two became one.
It can be said, with many confirmations, that James never met a stranger…and would therefor strike up a conversation with anyone…he just felt comfortable….
James is survived by his step-son Charles Reeder and Gene Smiley, Grandson Nick Reeder, Granddaughters; Laura and Jessica Reeder, Sisters; Wilma Partin and Barbara Risewer, and two great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on the grounds of San Jacinto Memorial Park and Funeral Home.
