Mr. James G. McCanless, Sr.'s Obituary
James G. McCanless, 81, entered into rest Tuesday, May 10, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife Carol G. McCanless of 57 years in 2009; a son, Anthony McCanless in 1982 and a daughter, Phyllis McCanless in 1963. Parents Gerald S. McCanless and Lela M. McCanless, brother Bobby McCanless and sister Barbara Ann Rutledge. Survivors include his brother Billy McCanless and his loving children, daughters: Sandra F. Saenz and husband, Claudio, Brenda Graham and husband, Jackie, Sherrie Salazar and husband, Louis, Kimberly Nicolas and husband, Brian and Patricia Mills and husband, Chuck; sons: James McCanless, Jr. and wife, Charlotte, Ricky McCanless and wife, Cheryl, Terry McCanless and lifemate, John Keller and Stephen McCanless and wife, Phyllis; seventeen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2016 at San Jacinto Funeral Home. A Celebration of James's Life will be held at 9:00 a.m. Sunday, May 15, 2016 in the Chapel of San Jacinto Funeral Home with Mr. Jim Bryant officiating. Interment to follow, San Jacinto Memorial Park.
