Mr. James William Banks' Obituary
James William Banks, 87, passed away at his residence in Hemphill on Saturday, January 12 2013. Mr. Banks was born on Arpil 19, 1925 in Bankhead, AL. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy as a Deep Sea Diver during WWII. Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Rushie and his son James Wayne Banks. He is survived by his son Houston Banks and Wife Bonnie, daughter Thresea Russ and husband Tom, and his daughter-in-law Gloria Banks; grandchildren Jeffrey Banks, Brett Banks, Virginia Banks, Haiiley McManus, Julie Falwel and Jody Banks and Zachary Russ; 9 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Banks will lie in state beginning at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday afternoon, January 16, 2013 in the chapel of San Jacinto Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 P.M. with Mr. Perry Lamb officiating. Interment will follow in San Jacinto Memorial Park.
