Jade Yaqian Klingler's Obituary
Jade Yaqian Klingler, born on October 3, 1996, left this world on April 4, 2024. She was adopted at the tender age of 14 months from Changsha, Hunan Province, China, by her devoted mothers, Kandace Louise Klingler and Martha Ruth Skrabanek.
Jade’s fireball spirit was as free and vibrant as her passions. She found joy in the thrill of skateboarding and the freedom of riding her motorcycle, Big Bertha. Her wanderlust led her to explore far and wide, with Venice Beach holding a special place in her heart. Road trips to Austin were an escape, a chance to embrace life’s adventures.
From an early age, Jade fearlessly engaged in jiu-jitsu, embodying strength and resilience. Her creative soul blossomed during her time at the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, where she was a member of the creative writing program. There and throughout her life she forged rich and lasting friendships.
Jade is survived by her loving mothers, Kandace Louise Klingler and Martha Ruth Skrabanek, and their respective partners, Kristen Sheils and Pam Benson. Her stepsisters, Jennifer Heath and Jessica Rippley, share in the grief of her passing.
Her aunts, Shirley Kober and Sandra Skrabanek, and uncles, Thomas Spence, Timothy Spence, Raymond Skrabanek, and Larry Skrabanek, mourn her loss. Jade joins her grandparents, Marcia Howell, Dee Klingler, Raymond Skrabanek, and Ruby Skrabanek, in the eternal embrace.
In the quiet moments, we remember her aunt Mary Skrabanek and uncles James Klingler, William Klingler, and Richard Klingler, who await her with open arms.
Jade was strong, strong-willed, and self-reliant. She held powerful values and fearlessly fought for her beliefs. She was a steadfast friend who fiercely loved and was fiercely loved by others. Her adventurous spirit, warm heart, and contagious laugh and smile touched everyone she encountered and brought joy to those who loved her. May her memory continue to inspire us to live boldly and cherish our connections with loved ones. Rest in peace, dear Jade.
