Jack was one of the people who always made me light up on the inside. His accepting and gentle spirit was larger than life itself. He was the first person I knew who used a wheelchair and when it came my turn to learn to live with paralysis, I felt such a kinship and a knowingness with him. I will miss Jack, his calming presence, his humor, ability to laugh with his eyes and entire body, and his peaceful acceptance at our family reunions. I am so sorry for the loss for his family and loved ones, but know he is OK and still so loving.
I left an earlier entry and need to apologize not sure what I was thinking but I put the wrong relation...Jack was a cousin of my grandfathers (Holiday Lloyd) and my great grandfather William Harrison Loyd was his uncle.
So very sorry to hear of Jack's passing. Our prayers are with your family at this time. My grandfather Holiday Lloyd was Jack's uncle. I have heard many stories over the years. My dad's (Holiday Lloyd Jr.~ Junior) fondest memory was throwing the football years ago with Jack when they lived off of Hardy in Houston. May the lord be with you all at this time...
