Ina Reames Sandbrink's Obituary
Ina Mae Reames Sandbrink,75, of Baytown, TX passed away surrounded by loved ones on November 28,2023 at home. She was born on May 25, 1948 to Orville Dean and Nannie Florance (Polly) Reames in Wheeler, TX. She was the oldest of three children. Shortly after she graduated from Pampa High School they moved down to Lomax, TX. She has been a candy striper volunteer while living in Pampa, stay at home mom, bartender, and worked in accountng through her years. She got her bookkeeping degree from San Jacinto College. In her later years she volunteered with the Women’s Christian Ministry in Nederland, TX, the prison ministry through First Baptist Church Nederland, and would sit with elderly people in their homes. She was also a member of the Gleaners Sunday School class at First Baptist Church Nederland Texas.
She was married three times in her life with the last one being the love of her life. Her and Ron Sandbrink were married on November 28, 1992. When he passed away in January of 2002 she knew there would never be another love for her. She was also proceeded in death by both her parents and her brother, Orville Ray Reames.
She is survived by her son, Dean Sharp and daughter-in-law, Sherry Sharp, of Crosby Texas and her daughter, Renay Rogers and son-in-law, Scott Rogers, of Nederland Texas. She is also survived by her brother Ronnie Reames and sister-in-law, Paula Reames of Joy Texas. She has 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
We are having her Celebration of Life at San Jacinto Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Houston Texas at 10 am on December 7th with the visitation being on December 6th from 5-8 pm. In lieu of flowers she has requested that donations be made half in half to The American Heart Association and The Leukemia Foundation.
