Howard Derek Wehunt's Obituary
Howard Derek Wehunt, age 61, of Houston, Texas passed into the arms of our heavenly Father on Wednesday, January 27,2021. He was born on July 28, 1959, in Atlanta, GA, to Bennie Howard Wehunt and Joyce Wehunt. Mr. Wehunt was a peace officer at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, TX. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be truly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bennie and Joyce Wehunt.
He is survived by his loving wife, Eulalia Wehunt; son Clifford Cantu; daughters Victoria DeForrest and Samantha Cantu; brothers David Wehunt, Michael Belcher, Bennie Wehunt Jr., Rubern Wehunt and Bert Wehunt; and grandchildren Romeo Galindo, Saylah Galindo, Ava DeForrest, Violet DeForrest, Cora DeForrest, Kaylee Cantu, Cayden Cantu and Carson Cantu.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 5, 2021 from 5pm until 8pm with funeral services Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 2 pm at San Jacinto Funeral Home with burial to follow in San Jacinto Memorial Park in Houston, TX.
