Hortencia H. Campos' Obituary
Hortencia H. Campos, a beloved resident of Houston, Texas, passed away on March 27, 2024, in Webster, Texas. She was 73 years old. Born on October 24, 1950, in Eagle Lake, Texas, Hortencia was the daughter of Paul and Andrea Hernandez. She married Jesus Campos on January 13, 1968, and together they shared a life filled with love and cherished memories. Hortencia had a zest for life and found joy in simple pleasures. She loved singing, dancing, and spending quality time with her family. Her warm smile and kind heart touched the lives of everyone she met.
Hortencia is survived by her loving family:
• Daughters: Becky Henry of Houston, Texas, and Raquel Campos (spouse Wayne Texas) of Houston, Texas.
• Son: Jesus Campos (wife Leticia Castillo) of Houston, Texas.
• Sisters: Diane Morales and Norma Guerrero (spouse Jose Guerrero), both of Houston, Texas.
• Brothers: Rudy Hernandez, Paul Hernandez, Ana Hernandez, and Peter Hernandez, all of Houston, Texas.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, as well as a large and loving family. Hortencia is survived by 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart:

Hortencia was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lorenzo and Maria Olga Rangel, her devoted husband, Jesus D. Campos, her parents, Paul and Andrea Hernandez, and her sister, Mary Jimenez.
