Con profunda tristeza y amor, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Higinio Mireles, de 49 años, originario de Houston, Texas, quien partió de este mundo el 11 de junio de 2025 en Conroe, Texas.
Nacido el 11 de enero de 1976 en Ciudad del Maíz, San Luis Potosí, México, Higinio fue el querido hijo de Alberto y Estanislada Mireles. Desde orígenes humildes, forjó una vida marcada por la entrega a su familia, su oficio, su cultura y su comunidad.
Higinio contrajo matrimonio con su amada esposa, Sara Muñiz, en Cleburne, Texas, iniciando un camino de amor, compañerismo y alegría compartida. Juntos formaron una hermosa familia basada en la unidad y el cariño.
Como carpintero y operador de maquinaria, Higinio se destacó por su dedicación y precisión en Cleary Concrete. Pero más allá de su oficio, fue reconocido por construir algo más que estructuras: construyó memorias, vínculos y un legado duradero.
Fue fundador y miembro orgulloso de Danza los Caballitos la Huasteca Potosina, donde durante siete años celebró con entusiasmo las vibrantes tradiciones de su herencia mediante la música y la danza.
La vida de Higinio fue un testimonio vivo de bondad y entrega. Encontraba felicidad al cocinar y asar para sus seres queridos, pasar tiempo con sus hijos y su adorada nieta, y brindar ayuda siempre que podía. Su mayor orgullo era crear junto a sus hijos, compartir risas alrededor del asador y, sobre todo, hacer que su esposa se sintiera amada, valorada y orgullosa cada día.
Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Sara Muñiz; sus hijas, Lizbeth Mireles (y su pareja Jesús Resendiz), Joccelin Mireles (y su pareja Israel Flores), y Brigit Mireles; sus hijos, Brian Lee Mireles, Higinio Mireles Jr. y Ryan Mireles; y su nietas, Adeline Azalea Resendiz y baby Delilah Flores a quien tristemente no va poder conocer.
Él y su hermano, Lamberto Mireles, fallecieron trágicamente juntos en un accidente. Los hermanos eran muy cercanos.

With deep sorrow and profound love, we announce the passing of Higinio Mireles, age 49, of Houston, Texas, who departed this world on June 11, 2025, in Conroe, Texas.
Born on January 11, 1976, in Ciudad del Maíz, San Luis Potosí, Mexico, Higinio was the cherished son of Alberto and Estanislada Mireles. From humble beginnings, he built a life defined by devotion—to his family, his craft, his culture, and his community.
Higinio married his beloved wife, Sara Muñiz, in Cleburne, Texas, beginning a journey of love, partnership, and shared joy. Together, they raised a beautiful family grounded in unity and warmth.
A skilled carpenter and machine operator, Higinio brought care and precision to his work with Cleary Concrete. But beyond his trade, he was known for building more than just structures—he built memories, connections, and lasting legacies.
He was a proud founder and devoted member of Danza los Caballitos la Huasteca Potosina, where for seven years he joyfully celebrated the vibrant traditions of his heritage through music and dance.
Higinio’s life was a living testimony to kindness and selflessness. He found happiness in cooking and grilling meals for those he loved, spending quality time with his children and adored granddaughter, and helping others whenever he could. His greatest pride came from creating with his sons, sharing laughs around the grill, and, above all, making his wife feel loved, cherished, and proud every day.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sara Muñiz; his daughters, Lizbeth Mireles (and partner Jesus Resendiz), Joccelin Mireles (and partner Israel Flores), and Brigit Mireles; his sons, Brian Lee Mireles, Higinio Mireles Jr., and Ryan Mireles; and his granddaughters, Adeline Azalea Resendiz and baby Delilah Flores who sadly he will not get to meet.
He and his brother, Lamberto Mireles tragically passed away together in an accident. They were very close with each other.
To celebrate his life, the family asks that guests honor his memory by wearing white and blue—colors that reflect his peaceful, vibrant spirit—instead of black.
Higinio’s legacy lives on through every heart he touched and every joyful memory he created. He will be dearly missed, yet never forgotten. May he rest in eternal peace.
