Mr. Hermenegildo Cavazos' Obituary
Mr. Hermegildo Cavazos passed away following a brief illness on Friday, January 30, 2009 in a Houston hospital. Mr. Cavazos was born in Mexico on February 25, 1923. He is survived by his children Miguel Cavazos and wife Naomi, Ricardo Cavazos and wife Delores, Enrique Cavazos and wife Rosa Isela, Martha Gonzalez and husband Humberto, Ydalia Vega and husband Jesus, Ruben Cavazos and wife Lisa, and Hilda Rivera and husband Oscar; 15 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; one brother; and one sister. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Juana in 2002. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 1, 2009 from 2:00 until 8:00 PM. Funeral services to be held on Monday, February 2, 2009 in the chapel of San Jacinto Funeral Home, 14659 East Freeway at 10:00 AM with Rev. Carlos Vences officiating. Interment will be in San Jacinto Memorial Park.
