Henry Villasana's Obituary
Henry Villasana, 90, of Houston, Texas passed away on July 1, 2025. He passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus surrounded by his niece - Carmen Garcia, his deacon - Jimmy Haney and his deacon’s wife Laurie.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 26 years, Shirley
Darlene Villasana.
He leaves behind a special Niece, Carmen Garcia, three step sisters: Linda Villasana McCormick, Mary Esther Roland, Aurora Villasana Stanley and many other nieces and nephews.
Henry was born in Austin, Texas to Anthony “Tony” Villasana and Carmen Nunez on June 13, 1935.
Henry attended San Marcos Military Academy after his mother died. He achieved the rank of Lieutenant and dreamed of serving in the military. It was during this time he accepted Christ as his Savior.
His family moved to Houston and had a thriving business called “Tony’s Tortilla Factory”. He worked in the factory and delivered to many restaurants across Texas.
He married Felicita Ramirez and together they ran the “El Charro Cafe”. After Felicita passed away, Henry worked as a night manager at Circle K. He met his wife Shirley while working there.
Henry was known for his quiet charm, for loving his wife well, and for working hard to support his family. Henry made many friends at Morada Senior Care where he lived out his last days. He will be missed by all who knew him.
