Henry Suy was like a surrogate father to me, and his sons were like surrogate brothers to me. To contribute any one memory to him would be a disservice. Mr. Suy instilled in me an appreciation for the American Dream, and what that looks like fully achieved. His sons instilled in me a sense of family, and found family, that I'm more than grateful for.
Suddenly, I'm forced to find one memory of Mr. Suy to recollect. If I have to choose one, it's one of the many times I heard him singing karaoke before his friends and family. Mr. Suy was a joyful man, and I firmly believe this was one of the more intimate ways that he spread that joy. He will be deeply missed by many, myself included.
