Mr. Harry Hilton Pearce's Obituary
Harry Hilton Pearce, 82, a native of Bastrop, Louisiana and resident of Houston since 1957 went home to his savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 following a three month illness. Harry retired from Shell Oil Company as a Senior Engineer following 35 years of service. He enjoyed the outdoors and particularly loved golfing and fishing. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Mr. Pearce is survived by his two sons Jerry L. Pearce and wife Veronica and Randy H. Pearce of Houston; two daughters Marilyn Pazienza and husband Joe of Orange, California and Mona Madden and husband Greg of Marquez, Texas; four grandchildren, Eric and Monique Pearce and Dalton and Taylor Madden; two great-grandchildren, Allison and Ryan Pearce; four brothers, Thomas B. Pearce and wife Frances of Wichita Falls, Texas and Charles E. Terry and wife Vivian of Monroe, Louisiana, Arthur Pearce Jr; of West Monroe, Louisiana and John Pearce of Crowville; Louisiana; a sister Mary Pearce White of Biloxi, Mississippi; and other family members. He was preceded in death by his wife Frances Pearce in 1996; his parents, Arthur Morgan Pearce and Mary Alma Pearce Robertson; a sister, Arnelle Pearce Harrison, and a brother William E. Terry. Visitation with the family will be on Thursday, March 12, 2009 from 5:00 TO 8:00 PM at San Jacinto Funeral Home, 14659 East Freeway. Funeral services will be in the funeral home chapel on Friday, March 13, 2009 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Keith Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in San Jacinto Memorial Park.
