Harold Wayne Baker's Obituary
HAROLD WAYNE BAKER
Revelation 21:4 – “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
On October 4th, 1934, a beautiful baby boy, Harold Wayne Baker, was born to George Dewey Baker and Thelma Louise Dukes in Owensburg, Indiana.
Harold passed peacefully at home on Monday, October 31st, in Houston, Texas, at the age of 88. He graduated from high school, and instantly joined, served, and retired from the United States Air Force.
He married Annie Sylvia Heskett on June 6, 1958, in London, England. In this union, they had three beautiful daughters: Donna, Suzanne, and Virginia. After 27 years of service in the United States
Air Force, he attended college and earned a degree, where he began working for the City of Houston Water Treatment Plant. Harold loved to travel, enjoyed fishing, and going to the horse and dog park races with his family.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Dukes, father, George Baker, four brothers, one
sister, daughters, Donna and Suzanne, and loving wife, Annie.
Left to cherish his love and memories are his daughter, Virginia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins,
and friends; very special neighbors, Leroy and Patricia Burke, Jim and Cathi Curtis, and very close
friends, Xochitl Peters and Guadalupe Perales.
