Gussie Faye Hester's Obituary
Gussie Faye Hester, 86, was born on October 3, 1924 in Manifest, Louisiana to Grover Cleveland Knight and Mary Elizabeth Tingle Knight. Mrs. Hester was a teriffic mother; doting grandmother and great-grandmother; and friend to many. She was a long time active member of Uvalde Baptist Church. Gussie is survived by her daughter Beverly Stephens and her husband Steve, granddaughter Ginny Heard and husband Chrys; grandson-in-law Kenneth Dubree; great-grandchildren Chrystal Heard and Erik Dubree; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry M. Hester in 1981 and a granddaughter, Laura Dubree in January of this year.
