Guillermo "Memo" Macias' Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Guillermo "Memo" Macias, who was born on September 1, 1976, in Matamoros, Mexico, and peacefully left us on January 18, 2025, in Houston, Texas. Memo lived a life filled with joy and love, surrounded by his cherished family and friends.
Memo was a man of simple pleasures, who enjoyed good food, had a love for cars, and found immense happiness in the company of his best friend (dog), Rex. One of his greatest joys was visiting the beaches of Destin, Florida, where the sea and sand brought him peace. Memo had a unique passion for sharing weather updates with his family, always ensuring they were well-informed.
Memo's kindness and generosity were evident in every aspect of his life. He saw the best in people and was always ready to help anyone in need, often giving the shirt off his back to those less fortunate. He was a beacon of hope and support for many.
Memo is survived by his loving wife, Tobi Michelle Macias, who stood by his side through thick and thin. He also leaves behind his devoted parents, Jose and Irma Macias, who instilled in him the values of love and compassion.
Memo's legacy continues through his beloved children, Patricia Perez (Jesse Perez), Guillermo Macias (Bernice Gomez), Xavier Macias (Sarae Gutierrez), Joshua Macias, and Alexis Macias. His presence will forever be remembered by his siblings, Jose Macias, Rosa Cruz, Juanita Torres, and Sylvia Macias. His presence will further be felt by his beloved granddaughter Wren Macias.
Memo touched the lives of everyone he met and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he loved and those who loved him.
