Gracie Robles Gutierrez's Obituary
Gracie Robles Gutierrez, 62, of Houston, TX passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 1, 2024, in Pasadena, TX. She was born on April 10, 1962, to Jose G. and Delia Robles in Houston, TX. She is the youngest of six children.
She married her high school sweetheart, Gerardo "Jerry" Gutierrez on July 19, 1980, in Houston, TX. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She touched the lives of everyone she knew with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love.
She was a devout Catholic and was deeply involved in her church community. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life and she found great comfort and strength in her relationship with God. She was an active member at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church and St. Andrew’s Catholic Church. She regularly served as a Eucharistic minister and lector. She was a logistics supervisor with Metrix Logistics with over 30 years experience in warehouse management.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends by organizing bingo nights, casino trips, and praying the rosary. In younger years, her hobbies included bowling, volleyball, and trail-riding.
Gracie is survived by her husband "Jerry" children Andrea and Miguel Daniel, Alyssa & Jose Arriaga, Jared Gutierrez & Lucy Ceballos; sisters Joann Robles, Sandra (Arturo) Zamora; brothers Robert (Bertha) Robles, Joey Robles, and Eddie Robles; grandchildren Ariana and Mikey Daniel; and numerous nieces and nephews who will forever cherish the love and guidance she gave them.
Visitation for Gracie will be held on Monday, September 9, 2024, 4pm to 5pm for immediate family and 5pm to 8pm for the public at San Jacinto Funeral Home, 14659 East Freeway, Houston, Texas 77015. Funeral service will take place the following morning Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at 10 am with interment to follow in San Jacinto Memorial Park.
