Mrs. Grace Cooper's Obituary
Grace Cooper, 89, entered into rest Saturday, November 1, 2008. Affectionately known by many as Mom, Grandma, Grace, Gracie and Aunt Grace, and loved by all. Born on February 26, 1919 to parents, William and Mary Annie Womack in Millville, Arkansas and moved to Houston in the early 40's where she met her husband-to- be, Paul Cooper. They were married for 59 years until Paul's death on January 15, 2007. At Paul's side, she helped with the company business and at the same time, raised four sons. With Mom's passing on to Heaven, she will once again have the opportunity to fix tomato gravy for Dad and the many friends he's sure to have made by now. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Jacinto City. She is preceded in death by her PAGE 2 OF 2 parents, her husband Paul, five brothers and one sister. She is survived by her sons, Ken Cooper and his wife Sharon, Gary Cooper and wife Dixie, Doug Cooper and Jay Cooper; grandchildren, Tiffani Miller, Greg Cooper, Resha Barber, Bridget Cooper and Lesley Cooper; great grandchildren, Aaron and Ainslea Barber and Jackson and Katherine Miller. She is also survived by her favorite brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and countless friends. The family would like to thank the many caregivers that have cared for Mom and Dad the past couple of years.
