Mr. Gonzalo Marroquin's Obituary
Gonzalo Marroquin, 68, was born in Altamira, Tamaulipas, Mexico on January 10, 1949 to parents Julia Martinez and Erasto Marroquin and passed away on November, 7, 2017.
Gonzalo was first of five children and moved from Altamira in 1969. On December 17, 1975, he married his wife Rafaela in Brownsville, Texas. He worked as a technical engineer for 20 years, until his retirement in 2016. Gonzalo was a proud parishioner of St. Andrews Church.
Gonzalo is survived by his loving wife Rafaela Marroquin; children, Cristina Moore, Patricia Garcia, Erasto Marroquin; grandchildren, Lilliana Garcia, Katerina Moore, Josiah Garcia, Tabitha Moore, Riley Marroquin, and Jade Ramirez; sisters, Teofila Marroquin, Magdalena Marroquin; brothers, Narciso Marroquin, and Mariano Marroquin; close friend, Arturo Castillo, and a host of family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Saturday November 11, 2017 from 9:00am to 11:30am at the San Jacinto Funeral Home Chapel in Houston, TX, with a funeral service immediately following at 11:30am. A graveside service will take place following the funeral service on Saturday November 11, 2017 at the San Jacinto Memorial Park.
