Geraldine Williams' Obituary
Our hearts are heavy as we say goodbye to our beloved Geraldine Williams, who passed away on February 5, 2025, in Houston, Texas. Born on December 29, 1954, in the same city, she was the cherished daughter of Bobbie Redden.
Geraldine had a true passion for gardening and taking care of other people. Her garden was a reflection of her nurturing spirit, blossoming under her attentive care just as those around her flourished from her kindness. She found joy in tending to her plants, and even more in the simple act of being there for others.
She is survived by daughters Yolanda Lewis of Houston, Texas, Gwendolyn Sewell (and husband Sean Sewell) of Houston, Texas. Her son Julian Lewis (and wife Stella Lewis) of Houston, Texas. Her brothers Eddie Lewis of Houston, Texas, and Vernon Lewis (and wife Patricia Lewis) of Houston, Texas. Her 10 grandchildren Kelvis Lewis, Jasmine Petters, O’shey Petters, Diamond Duncan, Amber Lewis, Jada Lewis, Chloe Sewell, Caleb Sewell, Madisyn Lewis, and Julian Lewis Jr. Her 6 great-grandchildren Dangelo, Diante, Kelvis Jr, Kingston, Journey, and Jazlyn.
Geraldine was preceded in death by her mother Bobbie Redden. Her sisters Patricia Thompson and Brenda Lewis. Her brother Tyrone Lewis. Her grandson TJ.
We'll always remember the warmth she brought into our lives. Whether she was sharing the bounty of her garden or offering a comforting word, Geraldine's caring nature touched us all deeply.
Though she's no longer with us, the love she sowed remains in our hearts. We'll miss you dearly, Geraldine, and we'll hold onto the sweet memories of your gentle spirit.
