Gay Lynn Harper, aged 67, passed away on September 24, 2024. Born on August 8, 1957, Gay Lynn was vibrant and social as a young woman and loved the beach, fishing, and gardening. She had a passion for cooking, especially her famous potato casserole, which she lovingly prepared for her family and friends, ensuring everyone was well-fed.
Gay Lynn was a devoted family woman who cherished hosting Christmas at her home. She had a deep love for Western shows like Gunsmoke and Yellowstone, and enjoyed going on lunch outings with her close friends. Known for her caring nature, Gay Lynn was an amazing mother and grandmother who would do anything for anyone. She had a special bond with her work friends and shared a love for motorcycles, collecting motorcycle toy bears as a hobby.
She is survived by her daughter, Andrea Lynn Kitterlin; her sister, Lori Zeleny, and her husband, John Zeleny; her nieces, Crystal Stokes, Kaitlyn Zeleny, Brooke Zeleny, Harlee Dee Thomas, and KC Stokes; her nephews, Brent Stokes, and Jarrett Zeleny; and her sister-in-law, Beth Stokes. Gay Lynn’s legacy continues through her grandchildren, Jordan Kitterlin, Michael Smith, and Blayne Kitterlin, and her great-grandchildren, Lily Smith and Ethan Smith.
Gay Lynn Harper will be remembered for her generous spirit, her love for her family, and her ability to bring joy to those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
