Mr. Franklin D. Reeves' Obituary
Franklin D. Reeves, 74 years of age, of Houston, Texas passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 3, 2017.
Frank was born in Piedmont, Alabama on December 26, 1942.
Frank was married to Cindy “Sitney” Lynn on February 3, 1967; they were married 50 years.
Frank served in the United States Army from 1960 to 1966.
Frank started in track maintenance at Southern Pacific Railroad in 1966 and retired as a Conductor at Union Pacific Railroad for a total of 41 years. He enjoyed going to church and reading the bible, collecting Railroad Memorabilia, spending time with grandkids, going out to eat, traveling to Alabama and the Smoky Mountains, and “indulging” Sitney in increasing her doll collection.
Frank is survived by his spouse, Cindy Lynn, and three sons; Shane Reeves, spouse Christy, children Ashleigh and Shane; Travis Reeves, children Kaleb and Jakeb, fiancé Leslie and daughter Mersadyz; Justin Reeves, spouse Christi, children Sean, Kaitlyn, and Khloe; two Nieces Glenda Rothchild and Carol Domokos, and Mother-in-law, Ann Baker along with other family and friends.
Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11am on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at River Pointe Church, 970 Dell Dale St., Channelview, Texas 77530. Rob Morris of River Pointe Church will be officiating.
