As I referred to you as "Tio Frank ",you will always be in our hearts, I will miss you greatly! I will never forget you were the only one who stood by me when I was pregnant and made sure I had a ride to my Drs. appointments,and after my son was born you still made sure we got to his pediatrician appointments on time! You never left us without reassurance that we were going to be okay. I will never forget that! Take Care Tio Frank. P.S. please tell my Dad I Love him and miss him!
TO MY LOVING GRANDFATHER WHO LIVED FOR 63 YEARS: HI I AM ALEXIS GARZA AND I AM MY GRANDFather 2nd granddaughter.I ws hoping that he was able to see me and all of his grandchildren go to school and graduate school .He would always tell me that to stay strong and be happy he is in a better place and not surfering from his sickness when he died.It was emotional the day he died but i always knew that he was ok and not fighting through what happend to him.I know that he is watching over us and he wanted me to say this to three of his grandchildren named gabriel,katelin,and peayton: grandpa was a good grandpa and he loved how you guys would help him and for peayton he would love how you would laugh at his donald duck voice and the moments you and him spent to gether when he carried you so thank you for the years i had with my loving,caring grandfather.THE END.I will miss the years i had with my grandpa and miss giving the pills to himand holding his hands at night when i slept on the couch next to him. Compadre Frank, I refer to you as compadre, because that's how i remember my parents saying your name. I want to thank you for the memories you shared with us last time we saw you. I remember how you told us the story of how u met my dad, and how you all became friends, and ended up going to the Houston Oiler's game. Then later in life you all became compadres. I will never forget the memories you shared, or your laughter. Thank you for being apart of our lives, and for being one of my dad's best friends. You will be missed. May you rest in peace.
Daddy Letting go is a hard thing for anybody to have to do. Letting go of a parent is even harder. Letting go of you was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. You will be greatly missed. I love you and am very happy to have been able to be there with you more these last couple of years. You were my morning alarm clock when I worked out of town. There's a saying, " Give a man to fish, he'll eat for a day. Teach him to fish, he'll eat for a lifetime." You taught me so much, I know I can go on in life content and with enough knowledge to pass on to my sons. I'm gonna miss the good times at the kitchen table after work, and how even at 32 yr of age,you still gave me a lecture about staying out late. Even in the hospital, barely able to speak, you made sure to tell me not speed home. You always worried about us. Now, you don't have to worry no more. You can rest peacefully and know that it's my turn. You raised us right. I'm gonna miss you so very much. Like I would tell you, "See you soon, just not too soon." Sleep well dad. Goodnight.
Uncle Cubby you sure did know how to make us all smile. no matter where we went in houston i always wanted to go to see you before we went home you were a great man and an amazing uncle and you loved us all so much. we all loved you too. without your support i dont know if i ever would of finished my eagle scout i only wish you could of made it another week so you could see me finish my eagle i love you uncle Cubby Rest In Peace
we will always love you grandpa. Actual speech Hey everyone. for those who do not know me, I am frank`s 1st grandson. My name is Francisco Garza IV (the fourth) and i am very proud to carry on the francisco name. to me and many of you, he was more then a grandpa, dad, uncle,etc. He was was a person to talk to, an advisor,a teacher, a source of encouragement, and more importantly a best friend. he was always a person you could tell how you were feeling and wouldnt judge you. He would give you advice that you would never forget. I remember when i was very little, he taught me how to use a computer, mow a lawn, and he made me my very first email address. He always did so much for me. To me, he had had a very strong heart. People would say no, he had a weak heart but i dont think they knew what i meant.I really meant, he survived diabetes, heart problems, cancer, and alot more and he was said to only have 6 years left on this earth. He lived 12 and to me that makes him a maricle and a very strong man. I remember how much encouragement he would give me. He was always at the front of the bleachers at my baseball games. he would always cheer and tell me how good I was even when i was having a "not so good game". He was also very proud of me. He would always be the first to brag about me and tell me that he was proud of me. Its very hard to put my feelings for this great man into words. People say to celebrate the person who died`s life instead of mourn their death. To me that is easier said than done. October 27 should become a historic day because on this day the world lost the greatest man ever. *thanks everyone for coming* *thank father* We all love you grandpa, and we will miss you. Uncle Cubby, Thank you so much for being such an Awesome Uncle. I will miss your loving heart and genuinely kind nature, your big hugs and " Hi, Meha!" with that big smile. Your affection, encouragement, sense of pride and love for family were always empowering to me growing up. You set your standards high leaving no room for temptation or dishonor to your family. I always loved how you showed your deep love and admiration for Aunt Bea by serenading her with Spanish love songs and making her blush. These past 5 years seems like you have had to endure so much physically, and once you were on your way to recovery you always had that big winning smile. You showed me with courage & determination and an optimistic spirit anything is possible. Thank you for these many treasures, I will cherish them always. Lots of Love,
