Francisco Rodriguez Coronado was born March 27, 1957, in Monterrey, Mexico. Born to Antonio Alba Coronado and Gloria Coronado Alvarez. Frank came to Houston, Texas at the age of 5 years, with his parents and siblings.
He was a son, a brother to his 8 siblings, he was a husband, a father to 3 children, a grandfather to 12 grandchildren and a great grandfather to 4 beautiful great grandchildren.
He precedes his mother (Gloria Alvarez), father (Antonio Alba Coronado), brother (Jose E. Coronado, Marco A. Coronado, Roman Coronado Sr.), sister (Maria Luisa Murillo) and grandson Michael J. Wiggins (Mikey) in death.
He leaves behind his wife Rosie Coronado of 49 years of marriage, his daughter Michele C. Wiggins (Mike), sons Frankie Coronado (Cindy) and Christopher A. Coronado (Terri). Spiritual daughter Debonea Nzeh. Grandchildren Johnny Marin, Jasmyn Coronado, Xavier Wiggins, Kristen Vela, Rosie Marie Coronado, Arianna Coronado, Mariah Wiggins, Kiara Coronado, Christopher A. Coronado II, Isaiah Coronado and Mikayla Wiggins. Great grandchildren Josiah Marin, Jay Vasquez, Alayna Vanek and Gabriel Coronado and many nieces and nephews.
Frank worked for the Port of Houston for the past 10 plus years, as a Wharf and RTG Crane Maintenance Electrician. He also served as a Union Official for 7 years.
When he came to the U.S he struggled with the English language, but he was determined and learned to perfection.
Frank was a man who was never afraid to try new things. Who had big dreams and most of those dreams he accomplished. He was a man of faith, who loved the Lord. He talked to his kids and grandkids about the Love of God! He made sure that they were in the House of God on Sundays and if they weren’t, he wanted to know Why Not! His grandkids were his pride and joy. He loved them unconditionally. He was proud of his children and their achievements. He was always ready to pray for them or anyone who needed prayer.
He has definitely left behind a legacy that his family will continue.
