Mrs. Florence Lorene Figley's Obituary
Florence Lorene Eoff Figley left her earthly home in Crockett, Texas and passed to her heavenly home on July 26,2017 at the age of 93 years of age. She was born to parents Markus and Viola Eoff on August 15,1923 in Spiro, Oklahoma; one of nine children. She married Jessie Robert Figley on December 27,1941 in Van Buren, Arkansas. They were blessed with four children. Lorene lived most of her life in Houston, Texas until the last two year of her life when she could no longer take care of herself and was moved to a nursing home in Crockett, Texas. She worked in the cafeteria at North Shore High School and then later in the cafeteria at San Jacinto College in Houston, Texas until her retirement. Lorene very much enjoyed sewing, crocheting, making crafts, cooking and baking, especially for her family. She was always trying new recipes.
Lorene was preceded in death by her husband, her siblings, and two great grandsons.
She is survived by her three sons, Larry Figley and wife, Jennifer; Robert Figley and wife, Sharon; Reggie Figley and wife, Tammy; her daughter Connie Armstrong and husband, Mike; eight grandchildren, Daphne Jones, Raymond Figley (Paula), Steven Figley (Jenn), Larisa Kutac, Jeremy and Justin Figley, Shelly Tacuuard and Kelly Ramirez (Adam); twelve Great-grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren and numerous nephews, nieces and friends.
