I miss you, Fernando bro you’re a true legend
Hello Miss Castillo, you were my fourth grade teacher now I’m in eighth grade and I just gotta say how much of a big friend Fernando was to me Nathaniel and Edgar. We were sharing dank memes we were playing games. It was just fun but now life happened and I’m deeply sorry for you because You lost a legend respect for your family.
To the family of Fernando Izai Ortiz, My deepest sympathies at this time for your family. Please know that you are not alone, and if there is anything we can do to support you please reach out to us. Your child will always be remembered and cherished, and I hope you can find some comfort in the love and memories you shared together.

Thinking of the family of Mr. Fernando Ortiz, and wishing you moments of peace and comfort as you remember someone was so close to you. He will be truly missed here at AAJH but never forgotten.
Colin Merritt- Anthony Aguirre JH
I had the pleasure of having Fernando in my Social Studies class this year. He was always a child with an infectious smile, and I loved that enjoyed Dragon Ball because it was a source of conversations when there was down time. My favorite memory is bringing him with my group on the Museum trip. I could tell he was so happy to be there and I was happy that he was there.
He also was never afraid to ask questions about social studies, and even though it wasn’t the most important thing going on in his world, it was so something he asked about and I always appreciated that we got to have conversations about social studies as well.
I am very thankful to have known Fernando and I gave my best wishes to his family and friends.
On behalf of the Anthony Aguirre Junior High, we are so very sorry for your loss. Fernando loved school and his friends! He always had such a sweet smile on his face and was full of joy when he was with his friends. It was such a blessing to see all the love that surrounds the Ortiz family. We were very blessed to have him join our Bulldog Family and we will never forget Fernando. Sending prayers to the Ortiz Family.
On behalf of Channelview ISD, I wish to extend our sincerest condolences to you and your loved ones during this time of profound loss. Fernando was a bright AAJH scholar, and his passing leaves a void that will be deeply felt by teachers and friends.
Please know that our thoughts are with you as you navigate through this difficult period. If there is anything I can do to support you and your family, please do not hesitate to reach out.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Dr. Tory C. Hill
