The Mazariegos Family (sister Sharon and husband Jorge, nephews Jorge 2nd and Michael) Jack had many talents and interests over the course of his life. He loved the outdoors, riding a bike standing on the seat, riding a motorcycle or sailing a boat. He was his own man, rarely doing anything he didn't want to. He inherited his love of singing from his talented mother Marjorie and his love of and grasp of History from his father B.P. Fuller. Jackie would have been a wonderful history teacher. He was fortunate to have made two trips to Europe and some of the places his father had fought in during WWII. His nephews noticed how he loved to take things apart to see how they worked and see if he could make it better. He will be missed.

My Uncle Jack was a very special man, when I was young kid he was always the cool uncle to go to and have fun with when we would travel from Denton to Houston and visit family on the holidays. He always had something cool and interesting things to talk about, whether it was stories to tell about traveling to some part of the earth across the globe we had never seen or about some personal endeavor like building an addition to one of his boat or vehicles. He was always doing or planning something creative. Jack was the type of guy that always thought outside of the box and for that a lot of the time his intentions and sentiments were mis-interpreted by people. With that said he to me he was always a caring, loving and supportive uncle. I remember the many history lessons he had given me, it was always interesting to hear these because he explained them from a different perspective than most. Very obscure compared to what I was taught in school through textbooks and whatnot. This was another very great character trait he had. He was always quick to speak his mind and tell the truth about things regardless of the circumstances and what people thought of him. This mindset and outlook was probably a large benefactor as to why he a seat on the City Council in the town of which he resided. He pushed for change and made change that he did. I will always have love for him and miss him. Rest in Peace Uncle Jack. Love, Your nephew Buster Woodham

Angels are celebrating since Jackie has gone to see the Lord. He was so very special. Jackie shined a light on all of us. He weathered adversity with a confident and wonderful gait. He was a wonderful dancer, lover of life and a very good friend. He served his community with honor and respect. We will miss him.

To Jackie's Family

We are saddened to hear the news regarding the passing of Galveston County Transit District Board member Jackie Fuller this weekend. He was very interested in public transportation and rarely failed to make a GCTD Board meeting. He helped to make Clear Lake Shores a better place. He added insight and careful thought regarding the importance of transportation. He was always a happy and smiling participant with the Transit District. He will be missed.
