Mrs. Evelyn F. Lewis' Obituary
Evelyn F. Lewis, 85, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2007. She was a member of Ralston Memorial Presbyterian Church. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, J.B. Lewis in 1986 and son, Ance Albritton Lewis. Survivors include her daughter, Frances E. Lewis and her husband, Jerry;son, J.E. "Gene" Lewis and his wife, Shirley; nine grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Lewis also leaves to mourn her passing numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. ' 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 15, 2007 at San Jacinto Funeral Home. Funeral Services to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2007, in the Chapel of San Jacinto Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Campbell of Ralston Presbyterian Church officiating. Those serving as pallbearers will be Donald Lewis, James Lewis, Derrick Lewis, Brian Chapman, Bruce Chapman and Glenn Godfrey. Interment to follow, San Jacinto Memorial Park.
