Mr. Emris Merlin Gray's Obituary
Emris Merlin Gray, 86, went to be with his Lord Tuesday, December 18, 2007. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Ira Ernestine Gray in May, 1996; great-granddaughter, Leslie Belle Lawson; his parents, four brothers and one sister. Mr. Gray was a charter member of Uvalde Baptist Church and currently a member of 1st Baptist Church of Teague (Texas). E.M. was a Life Endowed member and Past Master of C.A. Fortner Lodge #1304, A. F. & F. M., Past Master of Teague Lodge #256, A.F. & F.M. and a member Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include daughter, Donna Watkins and her husband, David; sons, Leon Gray and his wife, Connie and Leslie Gray and his wife, Beverly; seven granddaughters, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great- grandson. He also leaves to mourn his passing numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. The family will receive friends at San Jacinto Funeral Home at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, December 22, 2007. Graveside Services and Interment to follow, San Jacinto Memorial Park.
