Ms. Emma Ester Glass' Obituary
Emma Glass, 97, was born on June 1, 1918 to the late Johnie and Norah Forehand in Bethany, Oklahoma and passed away surrounded by her family on July 9, 2015 in Channelview, Texas.
She married the love of her life, James Monroe Glass on October 5, 1936 in Oklahoma. They were both really into square dancing with the Baytown Wagon Wheels. Her most important events were when she was surrounded by her loving family. Emma was known for her loving nature, she was full of life, very forgiving, truthful and honoree. She loved listening to music that her husband and her could square dance to.
Emma is survived by her children: James Monroe Glass, Jr. and wife Joanne of Charleston, IL, Bobby Lee Glass and wife Marion of Oakton, VA, Pat Moore and husband Jim of Beach City, TX and Pam Edwards and husband Orlo of Santa Fe, TX; grandchildren: Jacquie Klockow and husband Chuck of Edmunds, MO, Julie Garner and husband Ernie of Hammond, LA, Jay Glass and wife Tona of Charleston, IL, Stefanie Zimmerman and husband Russell of Oakton, VA, Janice Gambaccini and husband John of Oakton, VA, Amy Meade and husband Perry of Catleet, VA, Wendy Moore of Broomfield, CO, Jimmy Moore, Jr and wife Becca of Channelview, TX and Sandra Acklen and husband Gary of Santa Fe, TX; as well as many great grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the Chapel of San Jacinto Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of San Jacinto Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
Emma will be missed and loved by all who knew her.
