Ms. Ella A. Pannell's Obituary
Ella Wiederhold-Pannell passed away on June 24, 2016 at the age of 92. Ella was born on March 21st, 1924 in Caldwell, Tx to Walter and Lilly Wiederhold.
Ella married the love of her life, George D. Pannell on August 5th, 1945 and they lived in Houston for twelve years before moving to Kemah. Ella had many jobs in her lifetime, the first job she had after moving to Houston was a Welder at Hughes Tool Co. during the war (WW2). She was a wife and stay at home mom for many of years. A few hobbies she enjoyed were sewing and she enjoyed playing cards and dominoes. She was also known for baking desserts; her specialty was apple pies.
Ella Pannell was survived by her children: Pamela Sue Gross; George Earl Pannell; Ladell Ann Pannell and Laura Lynn Mallios. Grandchildren: Gary Glenn Gross; Christopher Lee Gross; Jared Lee Pannell; Jeffery Dell Mallios; Jennifer Lynn Mallios. Great Grandchildren: Makenzie; Savannah; Andrianna; Tessa Gross; Kaeleb Foster; Callie; Samuel Gross.
The family receive friends on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 from 9:00 am until 10:00 am, with A Celebration of Life Service to start at 10:00 am in the Chapel at San Jacinto Memorial Park & Funeral Home. Ms. Pannell will be laid to rest in San Jacinto Memorial Park.
