Elaine Lou Trevino's Obituary
Elaine L. Trevino, age 81, of Cypress, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2025, in Cypress. She was born on January 2, 1944, in Logan, West Virginia, to Jesse and Annie Blankenship.
Elaine married the love of her life, Robert J. Trevino, on March 25, 1986, in Houston, Texas. Together they built a life filled with devotion, faith, and family. Elaine worked as a manager at Sumburger and later served as a security guard for Shell. Beyond her professional roles, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness touched everyone she met.
Elaine found joy in reading the Bible, attending church, shopping, and most of all, teaching her children and grandchildren about the Lord. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, and she lived it daily through generosity and compassion. She loved her family deeply—her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy. Elaine was always ready to lend a helping hand, offering whatever was needed, and she will be remembered as a wonderful mother and a true blessing to all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Robert J. Trevino; daughters Angela Miller and Emily Kamp; sons Robert Trevino Jr., Salvador Trevino (Holly Thrailkill), and Anthony Trevino; brother Tony Blankenship and his wife Brenda; grandchildren Brandon Bell, Austin Jackson, Dharma Kamp, Adalynn Wright, and Chord Trevino; and great-grandchildren Brayden Bell, Everleigh Bell, and Jadelynn Demary.
Elaine was preceded in death by Geneva Wall, Irene Thompkins, Thelma Tomlin, Betty Vance, Paul Blankenship, Jesse Blankenship Jr., Delbert Blankenship, Boyd Blankenship, Bobby Blankenship, and Lillian Isaacs.
Elaine’s life was a testament to love, faith, and family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
