Dear Family, Your mother was my Sunday School teacher at the old Liberty Road B.C. when I was 13 or so. She was one of the sweetest persons I've ever known. We had such good times and she made S.S. a fun place to be. Through the years our friendship grew as I became an adult and took leadership roles in the church. She was always an encourager and helper when I called on her. Without a doubt her life touched many lives throughout her many years of service for our Lord. I know that you will miss her and I wish you all God's blessings as you make the adjustment without her.

Aunt Effie was the sweetest lady. While I was in college in Galveston, she and her entire family invited me for holiday meals and always made me feel a close part of their family. She was always so kind. She will be missed. My condolences to the entire Ellis family.
