Mr. Edward H. Shelfer's Obituary
Mr. Edward H. Shelfer, 78, was born on September 16, 1937 to the late Earnest and Ella Shelfer in Texarcana, Texas and went home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 1, 2016 in Houston, Texas.
Ed was a simple man. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. Ed would go on his annual dig for crystals in Arkansas and he would talk all over the world on his CB Radio.
Ed is survived by his three loving children, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild; as well as numerous family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 7, 2016 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the Chapel at San Jacinto Funeral Home. Ed will be laid to rest at a graveside service on Monday, February 8, 2016 at 1:00 pm at San Jacinto Memorial Park, 14659 East Freeway, Houston, Texas 77015.
