Mrs. Edna Mae Willis' Obituary
Edna Mae Willis, 85, of Dayton, TX was born on January 3, 1933 to parents Claudia P. and Hezekiah Williams and went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, October 23, 2018.
Edna was the second of seven children. Growing up, she attended school in the Highlands, TX. On May 4th, 1949 she married Crawford Willis. Edna was a devoted member of Kenefick Southern Baptist Church. In her spare time, Edna loved to cook for and spend time with her family, and loved to play bingo and bunco. She will be remembered for being a kind, sweet, loving mother and grandmother.
Edna is survived by her daughters, Karen Hinson, Marie Hatcher, Glenda Jones; sisters, Chris Brown and Shirley Adams; brothers, Ray Williams and Jr. Wyman; 13 grandkids, 26 great grandkids, 7 great-great grandkids; special friends, Jean and Jackie Aucoin, Debbie Miller; and numerous family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at San Jacinto Funeral Home. A service will take place on Friday, October 26, 2018 at San Jacinto Funeral Home at 11:00am with Pastor Jeff Day presiding over services, a graveside service will follow on grounds at San Jacinto Memorial Park.
