Mrs. Edna Mae Little's Obituary
Edna Mae Maples Little, 90, passed away August 2, 2008, in Houston, Texas. Edna was born October 6, 1917, in Glidden, Texas, to Thomas and Ella Maples. Edna married Robert 'Skipper' Little on April 6, 1941. Edna and Skipper made their home in Somerville, Texas, until his death on January 25, 1999. Edna is survived by one son, Robert 'Bobby' Little, Jr., and wife, Sharon Bryant Little; her special 'adopted son' Johnny Krueger; loving niece and caregiver, Glenna Rowe and husband, W. H. 'Bill' Rowe; brother, Alfred L. Maples and wife, Dorothy Maples; brother, Thomas G. Maples; sister, Ora Grace Criswell; sister, Alma Waldine Brown and husband, Vernon Brown; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, special friends and loved ones. Edna was predeceased by her husband, Robert 'Skipper' Little, Sr.; daughter, Edna Felton Little; sons Henry Lloyd Little and Ronald Gene Little; brothers, Walter Louis Maples and Henry Larkin Maples; and sister, Gladys Mary Muzny. Edna was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be dearly missed but we know the angels are celebrating her arrival in Heaven.A memorial service in honor of Edna will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2008, 11 a.m. at North Shore Baptist Church, 12265 Park Road 4, off of Hwy. 60 West, near Somerville, Texas, with Reverend Kenneth Klimple officiating. A lunch will follow.
