Mrs. Earline Brown Zelenevitz's Obituary
Earline (Brown) Zelenevitz, age 85 yrs, entered into the kingdom of heaven on May 26, 2018 at her home, Arbor Terrace Retirement Center, Kingwood, Texas. While her family and friends mourn her passing, they also joyously celebrate a life long-lived.
Earline was born on July 25, 1932 in Oletha, TX, to Earl E. and Lola Pearl Bradshaw. She was the eldest daughter in a family of three girls and one boy. Earline served as secretary of Woodland Acres Elementary and Green Valley Elementary, where she was known as ‘Mrs. Z’, for a total of 35 yrs. After the passing of her second husband, Louis Zelenevitz, Earline moved to Arbor Terrace Retirement Center where she resided for the past 14 years. Earline was active in numerous activities at Arbor Terrace; she assisted with the exercise classes and Sunday sermon song selections, and hosted the Center’s Sundry/Gift Shop, now named ‘Earline’s Sundry and Gift shop’ in her honor.
Earline is survived by son Ronald Glen Brown (Adair) of St Louis, Mo., daughter Donna Lynn Perdue of Houston, TX., step-daughters, Gail Smith (Rusty) of Hewitt, TX., Denise Garrett of Waco, TX., Joni Guthrie of Dallas, TX., nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, two sisters Nelda McLeod and Marvis Carr (Greg), multiple nieces, nephews, and a host of long time friends.
Preceded in death by husband of 13 years Don Arlen Brown, father of Ronnie and Donna, husband of 38 years Louis Edward Zelenevitz, father of Gail, Denise and Joni; parents Earlie and Lola Bradshaw; brother Sherwood (Tom) Bradshaw and son-in-law George Perdue.
Service for Earline will be held Friday, June 1, 2018, at 2:00pm at San Jacinto Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 14659 East Fwy, Houston, TX 77015
