Dorothy "DB" W Briggs' Obituary
Dorothy W. Briggs, affectionately known as “DB,” passed away peacefully on June 13, 2025, in Pasadena, Texas, at the age of 91.
Born on November 7, 1933, in Anderson, Texas, Dorothy was the cherished daughter of Stash Wrobleski and Pearl Gorney. On February 22, 1955, she married the love of her life, Louie Mack Briggs, in Houston, Texas. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion.
Dorothy dedicated 30 years of her professional life as an accountant for Texaco, where her diligence and integrity earned her the respect of colleagues and friends alike. Outside of work, she found joy in the simple pleasures of life—shopping, traveling, and the occasional gamble. Her favorite adventures were those shared with her daughter Patricia and son-in-law Wayne, with whom she created countless cherished memories.
Above all, DB was a devoted mother, wife, and friend. Her love for her family was boundless, and she treasured every moment spent with them. Her warmth, humor, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Dorothy is survived by her loving daughter, Patricia Guillot, and her husband Wayne. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Louie Mack Briggs, and her parents, Stash Wrobleski and Pearl Gorney.
Dorothy’s legacy of love, strength, and kindness will live on in the hearts of those she touched. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
