Dora Wamsley's Obituary
In Loving Memory of Dora Wamsley December 31, 1931 – July 10, 2025
Surrounded by love, Dora Wamsley passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on July 10, 2025. Born in General Bravo, Nuevo León, Mexico, she was the beloved daughter of Leonor Martinez and Trinidad Gonzalez.
Dora embraced life with grace, optimism, and an unwavering belief in the power of encouragement. A lifelong traveler and seeker of wisdom, she found purpose in helping others grow—teaching, uplifting, and guiding everyone who crossed her path. She accepted each chapter of life with strength and humility, and the word “despair” was simply never part of her vocabulary.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 59 years, her parents, two brothers, and four sisters.
Dora’s legacy lives on in the hearts of her children Lydia Parker and husband John, Robert Wamsley and wife Tracy.
Her grandchildren Brandy Parker and husband Dominic Mauriello, Amanda Martinez and husband Eric, Rachel Wamsley, Jana Rogers and husband Tom.
And also her great-grandchildren, Maegan Mauriello, Ashley Johnson and husband Noah, Gabriella Martinez, Oliver and Helena Mauriello, Lanse, Brock, and Kellan Rogers.
She also leaves behind a large extended family of nieces, nephews, and countless friends who were blessed to share in her journey.
Dora’s spirit will be remembered not just for what she did, but for how she made people feel—valued, inspired, and embraced.
