Don Weldon Vickers March 3, 1941 – July 4, 2025 Don Weldon Vickers, a devoted father, grandfather, and skilled craftsman, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2025, in Crosby, Texas, at the age of 84. Born on March 3, 1941, Don spent his life dedicated to his family and his work. He was a talented mechanic and millwright, known for his ability to fix just about anything. Whether it was in the garage or the garden, Don found joy in working with his hands and helping others. He loved fishing, gardening, and tackling any project that came his way. Don was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley Vickers, who passed away in 2022. He is survived by his children, Florence Trejo and Don E. Vickers and wife Tiffany Vickers; his sister, Maralene Brownlee; and his niece, Donna Brownlee. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Christiana Mustain and husband Bailey Mustain, Antonio Trejo, and great-grandson Stephen Mustain. Don will be remembered for his quiet strength, generous heart, and steadfast love for his family. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the memories shared by those who knew and loved him. A visitation will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at San Jacinto Funeral Home, located at 14659 East Freeway, Houston, TX 77015. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the same location
