Diane Elizabeth Downhour's Obituary
Diane Elizabeth Downhour, 66, of Baytown, TX, passed away unexpectedly on May 16, 2021.
Diane is survived by her husband of 32 years, Willie L. Downhour Jr. Daughters; Christina & John Gordon of Boling, TX, and Mary & Erik Jones of Atascocita, TX whom she shared with her first husband Floyd R. Porter. Son, Michael Downhour of Baytown, TX who she shared with the love of her life Willie. Grandchildren; Bethany Gordon, Brittanie & Damian Myers, Destiney Gordon, Cheyenne Gordon, Christian Hill, Pagan Downhour, Cortland Gordon, Grace Jones, Autumn Downhour, and Weylyn Downhour. Four siblings, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Stella & Roy Buel Stewart, and niece Jennifer Davis.
Diane was born and raised in Pasadena, TX on November 19, 1954. She was a graduate of Pasadena High School. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, Nana, and friend. The woman didn’t know what a stranger was and would welcome anyone to sit at her table. She was a woman of many talents from drawing to photography, but the thing she most loved to do aside from spending time with her family was needlework. She was always looking to try new things.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 23, 2021 from 1-3pm with funeral service to immediately follow at San Jacinto Funeral Home in Houston, TX.
