Dennis M. Black's Obituary
Dennis Black, 78, of Crosby, Texas was hit and killed by a hit and run driver on January 17, 2014, in front of his home. Dennis was preceded in death by his loving wife of 43 years, Mary Elaine (Carmouche) Black and his parents, Temus and Mary Black. Dennis was born in Houston, Texas on March 2, 1935. Dennis was the kindest and sweetest man who loved to play guitar and sing, square dance and some of everything. He loved and was very close to all his family; daughters Denise Blackwell and husband, Gene Blackwell, and Misty Floch and husband Dale Floch. His grandchildren, Arienne Long and husband, Robert, Afton Blackwell, Steven Blackwell, Jeremy King, Daniel Floch, Monica Floch, Great grandchildren, Jacob Blackwell, Avery Elaine Mueller, Spencer Gene Long, Amena Blackwell, Elaina and Aubrey Marino. Brothers-in-law, Gary Carmouche and Pete Carmouche. Dennis was a retired 35 years employee of Exxon Refinery in Baytown, TX.
