Demetrio Tijerina Jr., 84 of Jacinto City, TX passed away January 11, 2022 in Jacinto City, TX. He was born November 18, 1937 to Demetrio Tijerina Sr and Fidelia G. Tijerina in Edna, TX. He married Alvera Gonzales on February 14, 1956 in Edna, TX.
He was a trusted maintenance man at a local apartment complex and was the ultimate handy man and could fix anything. He also loved fishing.
He is survived by his wife over 50 years Alvera G. Tijerina; daughter, RoseAnn Enriquez; sons, Fernando and wife Laura Tijerina, Angelo and wife Annette Tijerina from Houston, Texas and Gabriel Tijerina of Jacinto City, Texas; sisters, Rosa Hinijosa (Joe) , Mary Flores (Robert), Manuela Estrada and Regina Tijerina; brother Jesse Tijerina (Janie) of Victoria, Texas; thirteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren all who will continue to love and cherish his everlasting memories.
He is preceded in death by his parents Demetrio and Fidelia Tijerina, Joe Tijerina, Leonard Tijerina, and Severa Trevino.
