She married her best friend and love, Leroy William Doyle, Jr. on December 12, 1951 who preceded her in death in 2018. People rarely saw one without the other.
Delores was preceded in death by her Parents; Velma Wimberly and Claude Clark, Brothers; Rev. Clyde Clark and James Clark, and Brothers-in-law; J.C. Worcester and Gerald Conner.
Delores was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She was a loving mother to her Daughters; Cyrena Renee Doyle, Janet Lynn Barrington and her Husband, Michael Hall.
She loved her role as Maw Maw to her Grandchildren; Devin Russell Barrington, Ashley Sher'Ree Barrington, and Great-Grandchild Kayson Barrington.

Delores loved her family and led by example with her strong Christian values. Her life was a living example of the Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 — “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.” She was a member of Woodforest Church of God which later became Victory Temple in Houston.
Delores was a wonderful cook and loved feeding everyone. She enjoyed socializing with family and friends and had a wonderful smile that lit up a room. She showed love to everyone in her life and never met a stranger.
She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
