Deborah Stevens Armstrong's Obituary
Deborah Lynn Armstrong was born on January 26, 1962, in Charleston, South Carolina. She died on June 22, 2023, at her home in Houston, Texas. She spent most of her childhood in Pensacola, Florida, and at age 16 she moved to Houston with her family and graduated from Galena Park High School in 1980. She became a paralegal for Exxon Mobile for the past 15 years.
Deborah was a kind, caring person who dearly loved her family, her friends and her work family.
She is preceded in death by her father Johnnie Ray Stevens and grandson Cameron Wilson. She is survived by her spouse Amanda Phillips and mother Nell Velasquez. She is also survived by brothers Richard (Dale) and Forest (Angie) Stevens, her daughters Christina Mixon and spouse Tony, Melissa Abston, and stepson Justin Phillips. She also leaves grandchildren Valarie, Joseph, and Mathew Mixon, Caroline Gonzalez, and Dakota and Nevaeh Ballew and best friend Cheryl Ray, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and dear friends.
