Deborah Lynn Reyes' Obituary
Deborah Lynn Reyes, 57, was born in Indiana on February 1, 1961 to parents Angel and Joann Reyes and entered into rest on Monday, December 24, 2018.
Deborah was the third of four children, she lived in Indiana until the age of 5. Growing up she attended Dr. Pedro Albizu Campos High School in Levittown, Puerto Rico, and later nursing school and completed her internship at Ben Taub Hospital in Houston, TX. There she earned her healthcare and nursing degrees and began her career as an occupational therapist. After 15 years of service, Deborah retired in 2010.
Deborah was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness. She missed her mom and dad and her brother, but knew that one day she would see them again, when they were resurrected.
She was a friend to everyone she met. Her favorite past times included being outdoors and spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends. She enjoyed Tejano music, soft rock and love songs, her favorite artist was Selena.
Deborah is survived by her husband Raul Moreno; brothers, Robert Reyes, Danny Reyes, and Mark Reyes; sister, De Jean Reyes; her sons, John M. Santiago, Angel D. Santiago, Raymond L. Santiago, and Elvin A. Santiago; grandchildren, Angel D. Santiago Jr., Raymond L. Santiago Jr., Briseis Santiago, Xavier Santiago, Isaiah Santiago, Elvin A. Santiago Jr., Irie Santiago, Malachi Santiago, Marino Lopez, and John Esquivel, as well as many other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at San Jacinto Memorial Park at the mausoleum on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 10:00am.
